Materials
STAINLESS STEEL
Hot rolled, it has an opaque appearance and is available in different thicknesses. It is used for general uses in the industrial sector, for semi-finished products in metal carpentry and plant engineering such as flanges or plates made both in 2d and in 3d through press-bending.
AISI 304 STAINLESS STEEL 2B finish
Particularly suitable for environments with high levels of pollution such as industrial areas and factories where chemical products are used, it is often used for the construction of tanks, kitchens, sinks and everything that requires resistance to corrosion from stagnation of water, even for a long time.
POLISHED AISI 304 STAINLESS STEEL
Steel with low roughness, smooth and mirror polished, thanks to its aesthetic qualities, is widely used for furnishing elements both indoors and outdoors. Also used in metal carpentry and in the industrial sector when the functional aspect is integrated with the aesthetic need for a reflective surface.
SATIN AISI 304 STAINLESS STEEL
Obtained from a surface abrasion of polished steel, brushed steel is widely used in furnishings for its aesthetic beauty. It is less aggressive to the sight of the glossy, which instead could tire in the long run, and is a good ploy to hide the fingerprints on the surface of the furniture object which, if polished, would need more cleaning and maintenance.
AISI 316 STAINLESS STEEL
unlike AISI 304, it contains molybdenum which makes it resistant to corrosion by chlorides. This feature makes it particularly suitable for use in the naval carpentry sector and in the food sector where there is a strong attack by acids. Used for furnishing elements in outdoor environments in contact with sea water or swimming pools.
BLACK IRON
or calamine black iron, has a particular black color effect that derives from the oxidation process during the production phase. Black iron is ideal for design elements thanks to its particular aesthetic dialogue with many materials, from natural wood to various types of coatings.
NATURAL IRON
or pickled iron, has the effect of iron in its natural aesthetic form. Pickling is a cleaning action of the material that removes the calamine, or black oxide, and returns it to its original state. This material is suitable for semi-finished products, especially if they are intended for the painting process.
COR-TEN
It combines functionality and aesthetics. Ideal for furnishing elements for both interiors and exteriors. The rust effect is given by a natural oxidation process of the alloy (which contains, in addition to iron, also copper, chromium, phosphorus, nickel and any other elements). Beautiful and resistant to both atmospheric agents and mechanical stress.
GALVANIZED SHEETS
Iron sheets particularly resistant to corrosion thanks to the application of a zinc zinc coating on the base steel. The sheets, customized through cutting and bending, can be used in various sectors, from sheet metal to metal carpentry, from the industrial sector to small metal parts.
